BANGALORE: Ajay’s unbeaten 138 and K.N. Bharath’s 100 helped Swastic Union CC (2) beat Bangalore Cricketers by 63 runs in a KSCA under-16 inter-club tournament match here recently.

Jaidur Cricketers 275 for seven in 50 overs (T. Vinod 101, Kushal 49, Akshil 27, Sanajy 25, Guruprasad four for 35) lost to Jayanagar Colts 276 for four in 47 overs (Dilip 67, Arjun 62 n.o., Bhavesh 51, Pradeep 41 n.o., Praveen three for 36).

Sir Syed Cricketers 145 in 42 overs (Bhargav 42, Vishal 40, Yousuf three for 14) lost to Modern CC 148 for no loss in 13.2 overs (Nirmal 87 n.o., Sanchit Sharma 48 n.o.).

Swastic Union CC (1) 224 for four in 50 overs (G.M. Rishab 75, Abhinav Manohar 49, V. Daivik 29, F. Arun 25, Gururaj three for 32) bt Jawans CC 91 in 26.2 overs (Umang four for 16).

Joint winners

Rail Wheel Factory SA and Canara Bank emerged as joint winners in the recently-concluded KSCA Group II, first division league after the final ended in a tie with both teams posting 181.

The scores (final): RWFSA 181 for nine in 30 overs (Manjesh Reddy 45, Sunil Kumar 29, S.P. Manjunath 29, Raju Bhatkal four for 31) tied with Canara Bank 181 for six in 30 overs (Bharath Chipli 65, G. Balaji 39, K.B. Pawan 33).
