Gold ornaments missing

CHENNAI: About 50 sovereigns of gold ornaments were reported missing from a house in Manadi on Monday.

Police said S. Rishika Begum (34) of Ibrahim Sahul Street who went to her mother’s house three months ago returned home on Sunday and found the jewellery kept in the almirah missing. Her husband Sahul Hameed (38) was not aware that the valuables were kept in the safe.

The North Beach police are investigating.
