The scores: United India Insurance 157 for nine in 30 overs (Kalyanaraman 41, Balamurugan 29, Raja Rajan four for 36) bt Pyra Architecture 87 in 14.4 overs (Munikrishnan three for 40). Points: United India 5; Pyra minus 1.

Ashok Leyland (Ennore) 163 in 27.3 overs (B. Lokesh 84, P. Balaji three for 23) bt Oracle Financial Services 109 in 26 overs (P. Balaji 33, Venkatesan Kannan 30, B. Lokesh three for 24). Points: Ashok Leyland 5; Oracle minus 1.

Reliance Communications 159 in 29.5 overs (Chandran 37, Swaminathan 58, Harish four for 22) lost to Bharat Group 162 for four in 27.2 overs (Mohan 40, Srikumar 25, Harish 27 n.o., Manjunath 47 n.o.). Points: Bharat 4; Reliance 0.
