Kancheepuram in last four
DINDIGUL: Kancheepuram defeated host Dindigul 3-2 and advanced to the semifinals of the senior State football championship for the S.A. Naidu Shield here on Thursday.
Kancheepuram secured the lead through Maria Delphin Dass goal in the 15th minute. However, Sundaravannakannan equalised soon. Joseph Prem Rajkumar put the host ahead in the latter part of the first half. However, Vinoth and Maria Antony Das netted a goal each for Kancheepuram after the break to seal victory.
