Sharma, Sareen star for West Delhi

NEW DELHI: Riding on Rajesh Sharma’s century and Pulkit Sareen’s all-round showing, West Delhi Academy thrashed Gyan Bharti (South Delhi) Academy by 256 runs in the Rajesh Peter memorial cricket tournament at the Bharti College ground here on Thursday.

The scores: West Delhi Academy 444 for six in 50 overs (Rajesh Sharma 107, Mayank Tyagi 76 not out, Ishank Jaggi 75, Pulkit Sareen 58, Harnav Juneja 44) bt Gyan Bharti (South Delhi) Academy 188 in 39.5 overs (Tejesh Kumar 55, Jaideep Singh 32, Pulkit Sareen four for nine, Udai Bajaj three for 54).
