Diwan sizzles

NEW DELHI: Rahul Diwan scored a half-century to help Sonnet Club beat Gush Club by seven wickets and enter the semifinals of the Laxmandass Chhabra memorial cricket tournament at the St. Stephen’s College ground here on Thursday.

The scores: Gush Club 191 in 38 overs (Gurpreet Singh 49, Rakshit Pant 31, Suhail Sharma three for 29) lost to Sonnet Club 194 for three in 30 overs (Rahul Diwan 83, Mayank Sidana 34, Mayank Tehlan 34 not out).
