“Put up a unified show for victory”

RAMANATHAPURAM: M.K. Azhagiri, South Zone organising secretary of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), asked his party cadres to put up a unified show for a victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) district-level workers’ meeting here on Friday, he said that unity was important not only to defeat the opposition but also to spread the achievements of the UPA government at the Centre and of the DMK government in the State among the voters.
The UPA candidates could emerge victorious only if the cadres and leaders successfully reached out to the people about the achievements. Ministers S. Thangavelan and Thangam Thennarasu, Central Minister S. Reghupathy, Bhavani Rajendran, MP, Ramanathapuram candidate K. Sivakumartook part.
