Rain brings respite

BANGALORE: Showers late on Friday evening brought respite to Bangaloreans, who have been reeling under intense heat for the last few days. Though it had remained cloudy for most part of the evening, drizzle started around 7.30 p.m. and soon many areas received good showers..

Several areas such as Krishnarajapuram, Indiranagar, Basavanagudi, Banashankari and others received good rainfall around 8 p.m. — Staff Reporter
