Pensioners’ plea

Bangalore: The Karnataka State Pensioners’ Association has appealed for an increase in the pension amount citing that the amount allotted to them is barely enough to meet their needs and the rising cost has caused problems to old pensioners. The association has said that the situation has reached a point where they are forced to seek the help of old age homes. — Staff Reporter
