THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Karamana Receration Club ‘B’ crushed VSSC by 143 runs in the Alka Ventures-TDCA ‘C’ division cricket league at the Agriculture College ground on Monday. Half-centuries from Shakthi (61), Anoop (58) and Jayram (50) powered KRC ‘B’ to an imposing 307 for nine in its allotted 45 overs. VSSC never got its chase going after losing early wickets and folded up for 164 runs in the 34th over. C.L.Arun (five for 68) and Balasubramanium (four for 46) shared the spoils for KRC. The scores: KRC ‘B’ 307 for nine in 45 overs (Shakthi 61, Anoop 58, Jayram 50, Priyadarshan four for 81) bt VSSC 164 in 35.2 overs (A. Jayan 48, C.L.
