“Do I look old to you?”

Amethi: Priyanka Vadra hit back at Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday for his description of the Congress as an old woman. “If Advaniji and Modiji consider themselves young, good for them,” she said.

“Do I look old to you?” she asked reporters who sought her reaction to Mr. Modi’s description of the Congress as a 125-year-old woman, who has become a burden on the nation.

Ms. Vadra was campaigning for her brother Rahul Gandhi in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency.

“You can see that we have the maximum number of young Parliamentarians in Congress. I don’t see that many youngsters in the BJP,” she said.

Replying to questions, Ms. Vadra said she would not enter politics. “You have been asking me for the past 20 years and I have been saying the same answer all the while. So, stop asking this question.” — PTI
