Time to move on: Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly.

KOLKATA: Sourav Ganguly is keen to focus on the future after the recent controversy over the multiple captain issue.

“It’s time to move on. Everybody is professional. Everybody wants to live up to expectations. We did not have a good tournament last year. We have to ensure we play better cricket this time,” Ganguly said here on Thursday.

Ganguly said he would prefer to forget the past and focus on the future. “Whatever happened on the captaincy issue is not new in sports. I am sure it will happen in future as well,” he said. “As professionals, we need to put this behind and look forward to playing in South Africa.” — Special Correspondent
