TDP’s charge against Purandeswari
The TDP has alleged violation of the Model of Code of Conduct in the distribution of a 40-page booklet along with a Telugu daily on Tuesday cataloguing the achievements of Congress Lok Sabha nominee D. Purandeswari. In a complaint to the Election Commission, TDP (urban) president Kona Tata Rao said neither the number of booklets printed nor the number circulated was shown anywhere in the booklet though it was a monthly edition. Though it was a magazine on agriculture, the booklet was published as Ugadi supplementary for distribution, Mr. Tata Rao said.
