Mahavir Jayanti fete

A series of religious, charitable, cultural and social programmes will mark the 2608th birth anniversary of Vardhman Mahavir, the 24th and last Trithankara of Jains, here between April 5 and 9 said Nirmal Singhvi, president of Jain Seva Sangh. About 10,000 Jains will gather at Classic Garden at Secunderabad on April 7 to celebrate Mahavir Janma Kalyan Divas.
