3.4 lakh seized from medical rep

Kakinada: The police seized Rs 3.4 lakh from a medical representative KVS Prabhakar during the checking of vehicles at Bikkavolu on Wednesday. He claimed that the money being taken from Anaparthi to Bikkavolu was meant for payment on behalf of his company in a business transaction. The money was sent to IT Department when Mr. Prabhakar failed to substantiate his claim. Staff Reporter
