Trials for ABSC

BANGALORE: Selection trials for the Army Boys Sports Company for trainees in boxing, swimming and hockey will be held at MEG & Centre here on April 23 and 24.

Boys, in the age group of 11 to 16 years are eligible to participate in the trials. They should report at the venue at 7 a.m. with their original copy of birth certificate, certificates of participation in district, State or National level games if any, kit for participation in selection for respective games, certificates of educational qualifications and six copies of recent photographs.

The boys enrolled in the Boys Sports Company will be given free education in English medium schools upto 12th standard. It is mandatory for the boys so enrolled to join the Army after passing 12th standard.
