Lok Sabha elections: media cell set up at district collectorate

KOCHI: A media cell headed by District Information Officer P. Vinod has been formed for the dissemination and coordination of news related to Lok Sabha elections.

The media cell will bring to the notice of the District Collector, who is also the District Electoral Officer, and election observers the election-related news published and broadcast in the print and visual media. Press releases regarding elections will be routed through the media cell. More than 100 releases had already been published.
