IT@School chief gets award

KOCHI: The Washington-based Open Document Format Alliance has chosen Anvar Sadath, executive director of IT @School, for its award for ‘outstanding achievement in ODF education and community development.’ Mr. Sadath shares the award with Vitorio Furusho of Brazil. Mr. Sadath, 35, had earlier headed the Akshaya and e-Krishi projects. He hails from Karuvarakund, Malappuram. — Special Correspondent.
