‘Congress violating poll code’

Special Correspondent

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Janhit Congress on Saturday urged the Election Commission of India to initiate action against the ruling Congress in Haryana for “forcibly” foisting the party flags on houses and shops in Rohtak, the home fief of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. By all accounts, Mr. Hooda’s son and sitting Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda, is certain to be re-nominated by the Congress for election from the key constituency. The Haryana Janhit Congress candidate for the Rohtak seat, former Minister Krishnamurti Hooda, disclosed telephonically that he had sent a letter to the CEC.
