Andhra Pradesh
This is the first time I feel people, particularly youngsters are more aware of their responsibility . The political party in whose hands we are entrusting the future of India should fulfil the needs of the nation. The manifesto should not include religious and short-term points or objectives, rather the parties have to define clearly the vision and long term plans for the country. S.M. Wasiullah, MBA Student. Actors and politicsFilm actors campaigning for political parties are not focusing on developmental schemes. Politics have become a hub of prestige, power, misappropriation of funds etc. Film actors or celebrities should inquire about politicians before campaigning for them. Sai Pawan Anugula, Nizam College. Waste of moneySome candidates are contesting from two constituencies to make sure their entry into Lok Sabha. If he is elected from two constituencies, he has to resign from one of them and later a re-election is conducted incurring enormous expenditure to the exchequer. The EC should tackle this nagging problem which has become a burden on the government. Md. Sowed.
