Mahindra beats Air-India

MUMBAI: Mahindra United extended its winning streak to seven from 19 matches in the ONGC I-League football, defeating Air-India with a 3-1 win.

Chidi Edeh headed in the first two goals and was a constant threat to the defence, Sushil Kumar Singh nodded in the third. Kailash Patil pulled one back for AI near the closing stage but could not break Mahindra’s stranglehold over the game. — Special Correspondent
