BVBCET wins title

HUBLI: Aided by a century from Ramadas Kamat (115), host BVB College of Engineering and Technology defeated Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) here on Monday by seven wickets to win the Visveswaraya Technological University Belgaum Zone inter-collegiate cricket tournament.

Ramadas was adjudged Man of the Match and as well as the Man of the Series.

The scores: GIT (Belgaum) 173 in 44.1 overs (Shridhar Khasnis 54) lost to BVBCET 174 for three in 20.2 overs (Ramadas Kamat 115).
