Rail counters to open partially on Holi

New Delhi: In view of Holi festival on Wednesday, a few computerised railway reservation counters in the city will remain closed while a few others will operate partially. However, the current reservation counters will function as usual, a release issued by Northern Railway said.

Reservation counters remaining closed for the day are the ones located in Parliament House, Press Club of India, Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Tis Hazari Court, Kashmere Gate and IIT campus.

A skeletal service will be available in morning shift at IRCA reservation complex in New Delhi, Delhi Jn and Hazrat Nizamuddin reservation office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the rest of the counters in the city will remain closed during this period.

They will, however, remain open in the evening, the release said.

Current reservation counters will, however, function as usual at Delhi, New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations, the release added. -- PTI
