Road to be named after Major Sandeep

Bangalore: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Monday announced that the Yelahanka New Town Main Road would be named after Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who died in action during the operation against terrorists in Mumbai.

Laying the foundation stone for various development works taken up in Yelahanka Assembly constituency, the Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over works of substandard quality.

Questioning how the potholes appear within a few days after asphalting a road, Mr. Yeddyurappa asked the officials to ensure quality works.
