CHENNAI: Velmurugan’s unbeaten 111 took Madras Indians to a comfortable nine-wicket win over TCC in a fifth division ‘D’ zone match of the TNCA league here recently.

The scores: III ‘A’: Garnet 253 in 48.2 overs (G. Srikanth 59, M. Arevalagan 74, G. Terrance Savio 45, P. Satish five for 71) lost to Mambalam Mosquitos 257 for six in 45.1 overs (Siddarth 51, Siddanth 47, Karthik 53).

TNEB 88 in 33 overs (S. Mahenthiran four for 24) lost to Perambur Club 90 for three in 16.3 overs.

Sridhar 203 in 48.1 overs (G. Suresh 87, K. Bharath Shankar 45, Sivakumar four for 32) lost to Cosmopolitan Club 206 for eight in 46.5 overs (Imran Ali Khan 47, Antony Das 71, P.R. Venkatasubramanian four for 86, K. Bharath Shankar four for 58).

Mambalam Mosquitos 140 in 43.4 overs (N. Balaji Ramanathan 53) lost to KMC 141 for nine in 49.5 overs (Karthick four for 55).
