Call to set up network of vigilance panels
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Women’s Commission Chairperson D. Sreedevi has stressed the need to establish and activate a network of vigilance committees to tackle the rising incidents of atrocities against women in the State.
Speaking after inaugurating the Thiruvananthapuram District Vigilance Committee here on Monday, she said harassment of women and sex rackets would come down drastically in the State if vigilance committees up to the ward level were activated. — Special Correspondent
