SHG pension at 50 years urged

HYDERABAD: The State unit of All-India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), AP Agricultural Labour Association and Centre of Indian Trade Unions have appealed to the government to sanction pension under the ‘Abhaya Hastam’ scheme to women aged 50.

In a joint representation to the Chief Minister, general secretaries of the three organisations K. Swaruparani, B. Venkat and R. Sudha Bhaskar made several suggestions, including reducing of the eligibility age.
