DSC applications: TRS stages dharna

Staff Reporter

SANGAREDDY: Demanding that the applications of those who are attending the examinations of B.Ed and D.Ed should be accepted for District Selection Committee (DSC), the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) on Saturday held a dharna in the town. Scores of students participated in the agitation.

TRS district president T. Raghunandana Rao alleged that the officials were not accepting the applications of the students though Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy promised to accept application.

“While applications are being accepted from the students in Andhra region that the final examinations would be held in May, the case is not same with Telangana region. Based on the ground that the final examinations in the region would be held in June and July, the officials are rejecting application. When students were admitted into these courses based on common entrance test, how the examination dates will be different?” questioned Raghunandana Rao.
