No power-cuts at night: discom
VIZIANAGARAM: The Eastern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited has in a statement here said that there will be no power cuts during night in all the five districts – Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari – in its jurisdiction.
K.V.R. Prasad, Manager (Corporate communications) of the company, said that the present two-hour power cut in mandal headquarters (12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.), three hours in municipalities (6.30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and two hours in district headquarters (8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.) would however continue. There would be no change in the supply timings for agriculture pumpsets.
