Vajpayee ‘is now better’

NEW DELHI: The former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was admitted to the AIIMS here on Tuesday evening following complaints of fever and chest infection, “is now better and the chest congestion is less.”

AIIMSMedical Superintendent D.K. Sharma said: “Mr. Vajpayee has been admitted to AIIMS for investigation and further treatment. His general medical condition is stable and he spent a restful night.”
