4 ULFA militants killed, arms seized

Rangiya (Assam): Four United Liberation Front of Asom militants were killed in two operations and huge quantities of arms and ammunition seized from them in Kamrup (Rural) district on Sunday.

Two militants were killed in a joint operation by the police and the army at Khoya village when the duo was moving to Guwahati from Nalbari.

Two pistols, two Austrian grenades, three detonators, two IEDs and 500 gm of ammonium nitrate were seized from the slain militants belonging to the group’s 709 battalion, official sources said. — PTI
