TIRUCHI: The Judge of the Madras High Court, S. K. Krishnan, participated in the Pongal celebrations organised by the Tiruchi Bar Association in the city on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Krishnan said he had learnt the nuances of law only through his hard practice in Tiruchi district court about two decades ago.

The knowledge he had gained here had immensely benefited in his career.

Mr. Krishnan said he was exposed to the nuances of legal system in judiciary through intelligent arguments put forth by the senior lawyers of yesteryears, who practised in the courts here.

The Additional District Judge, V. Ramamoorthy, other judicial officials, the president of the Tiruchi Bar, Pushparaj, were among those who spoke.
