SRM, RSTM in semifinals

Mumbai: SRM (Chennai) and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj (RSTM) University (Nagpur) entered the semifinals of the Rizvi College sponsored all-India inter-zonal university cricket tournament for the Rohinton Baria Trophy.

The scores (quarterfinals): RSTM (Nagpur) 224 bt Aligarh Muslim University 156 (Asif Intezar 48, M. Reddy four for 23); SRM (Chennai) 340 bt Calcutta University 277 (Writam Porel 122, Suvojit Banerjee 68, J. Kaushik three for 39, A. Karthick three for 77).
