Big win for SMCC

TIRUCHI: Adithyan scored 67 as Sanjay Memorial CC (SMCC) defeated MAP CC by 106 runs in a first round fixture of the State-level invitation cricket tournament for the RKV Cup here on Tuesday.

The scores (first round):

Urumu Dhanalakshmi College 131 in 29.3 overs (V. Madhu three for 18) lost to Cosmo 134 for four in 24.2 overs (Ravi 44, Sundaresan 31).

Sanjay Memorial 189 for eight in 30 overs (Adithyan 67, Murugan 43, R. Suresh three for 25) bt MAP 83 in 26 overs (Ramani three for 22).
