Asian junior tournament

Chennai: The 14th biennial edition of the Asian junior championship, to be held at the ICL Squash Academy here, has attracted a total of 10 teams in the men’s event and nine in the women’s.

The individual draw consists of 51 boys and 42 girls.

The top seed for boys is the star player from Hong Kong, Leo Au, who won the Asian junior championship in Korea 2008. The individual events will be held from January 16 to 19, and the team event from January 19 to 23. — Special Correspondent
