Terror suspects remanded

Mumbai: Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives Fahim Ansari and Mohammad Sabahuddin were on Monday remanded to police custody till January 23 in connection with the November terror attacks here.

This is the third case against them. It pertains to the attack on the Taj Mahal Hotel. On Wednesday, their judicial custody in two cases – firing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Girgaum Chowpatty encounter – was extended to January 23.

The two were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police for carrying out an attack on a CRPF Group Centre in Rampur.
