Killed in accident

KARAIKAL: Lakshmanan (22) of Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district, student of a private polytechnic near Vedaranyam, died on the spot and his friend Ravichandran (18), also a polytechnic student, sustained injuries when the motorbike they were riding hit a roadside culvert near Vanjur in Karaikal district on Tuesday.

Ravichandran has been admitted to Government hospital in Nagapattinam.
