Modern bus shelters planned in Oulgaret

PUDUCHERRY: The Town Planning Department plans to construct modern bus shelters in various parts of Puducherry.

In the first phase, the bus shelters will be constructed in Oulgaret constituency limits.

According to a release, the Public Health Minister, A. Namassivayam, who also holds Local Administration portfolio, on Tuesday inspected areas in Oulgaret for constructing aesthetically-designed bus shelters, after receiving requests from the public.

He inspected eights areas in Oulgaret - Sultanpet, Aathuvaikalpet, G.N. Palayampet, G.N. Palayam, Arumpathapuram, Arumpathapurampet, Moolakulam and Oulgaret - the release said.

Officials of Town Planning Department, Traffic, National Highways and Oulgaret Municipality were present .
