Credit disbursed

KARUR: Collector J. Umamaheswari disbursed credit worth Rs. 2.19 lakh to 14 persons at the weekly grievances day meeting here on Monday. Indian Overseas Bank Jawahar Bazar branch extended loans totalling Rs. 1.43 lakh at subsidised rate of interest to 11 persons while another three persons got credit worth Rs. 75,000 through TAHDCO.

Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Namagiri, District Revenue Officer (in charge) Shanmugam, Lead District Manager K. Chandrasekaran and others were present on the occasion.
