R.Venkataraman hospitalised

New Delhi: The former President, R. Venkataraman, was admitted to the Army Hospital Research and Referral on Monday after he complained of dehydration.

“R.Venkataraman was admitted following complaints of dehydration. His condition is now stable,” the hospital’s administrative head Brigadier A.K. Sharma told PTI.

He, however, refused to go into details.Ninety eight-year old Mr. Venkataraman was the President for five years between July 1987 and July 1992.— PTI
