Ashwin hits half-century

TIRUCHI: R. Ashwin struck an unbeaten half-century as A CC defeated Golden Arrows by 10 wickets in a first round encounter of the State-level invitation cricket tournament for the RKV Cup here on Monday.

The scores (first round):

Golden Arrows 81 in 21 overs lost to A CC 82 for no loss in five overs (R. Ashwin 52 n.o.).

S.M. Memorial 132 in 26 overs bt Narasimha CC 124 in 28 overs (Praveen 57).
