Murder accused to be charged under NSA

Muzaffarnagar (UP): The accused in the murder of a Dalit girl here will be charged under the stringent National Security Act (NSA), police said on Saturday. The girl was killed and her grandmother assaulted allegedly by youths after the two resisted their attempts to rape the 14-year-old in Chandpur village on Thursday. Superintendent of Police Ashok Sharma told reporters here that NSA would be invoked against those involved in the killing.
