Srinagar: In a shocking incident, a constable of Central Reserve Police Force shot dead his colleague inside the company headquarters in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Saturday, a police spokesman said. Kundan Lal, of 93 Battalion, opened fire on constable Parveen Kumar during a scuffle at the company headquarters at Achabal police station, 63 km from here, injuring him, the spokesman said. Mr. Kumar was rushed to District Hospital, Anantnag, where he succumbed to injuries. Police registered a case and investigations were on, he said. – PTI
