Boy secured inside airport

CHENNAI: A juvenile who sneaked into the arrival hall of the Anna international terminal was secured and later handed over to the police early on Saturday.

The police said the boy from Vellore district was roaming on the portico at the arrival hall. Around 1.30 a.m. he scaled the steel barricades at the entrance and managed to enter the hall. On seeing the boy moving around in suspicious circumstances, he was caught by the CISF authorities.

The police have registered a case under Section 448 (trespass) of Indian Penal Code. The boy will be sent to the government juvenile home. Further investigation is on. — Special Correspondent
