Head constable dies

Balasore: A head constable of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) deployed here to maintain law and order during Muharram died while on duty, police said on Friday. The head constable, identified as V Venkat Das (41), complained of chest pain last night and immediately taken to the district headquarters hospital where he was declared dead.

The district police officials paid tribute to him. The body would be sent to his native place in Andhra Pradesh. – PTI
