KOZHIKODE: Malabar Devaswom Board president K. Gopalakrishnan has said that the grant to temples under the board and the backlog of salary to employees will be paid by January 30. Mr. Gopalakrishnan was speaking at an adalat at Sree Valayanad Devi Temple here on Friday. He said guidelines would be drafted in case of postings not recognised in temples. The adalat sanctioned the estimates submitted relating to construction taken up by temple committees. 141 complaintsAs many as 141 complaints came up for consideration at the adalat. These related to repairs of temples, payment of backlog of wages, and employee postings. The divisions of Kasaragod, Thalassery, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Palakkad come under the board. The adalat for Malappuram and Palakkad divisions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
