Shah beats Joshi

MUMBAI: Rupesh Shah defeated Devendra Joshi 48-74, 65-30, 72-0, 60-40, 65-8 in a Group D match in the Nahar-MIG Cricket Club all-India snooker invitation tournament on Friday.

The results: Group A: Manan Chandra bt Faizal Khan 4-1 (66-101, 74-30, 67-1, 79-38, 66-28). Group B: Alok Kumar bt Rishabh Pandya 4-2 (61-74, 36-76, 83(79)-17, 84(84)-0, 65-41, 63-50).

Group C: R. Girish bt Nikhil Ootam 4-1 (73-41, 78-47, 64-74(74), 62-46, 63-56); Aditya Mehta bt Brijesh Damani 4-3 (75(74)-8, 50-60, 55-36, 5-96(87), 62-52, 27-74, 67-65).
