Punjab in deep trouble

VISAKHAPATNAM: Mumbai had Punjab on the mat on the second day of the Cooch-Behar trophy final at the Ukku stadium on Friday, reducing the last year’s runner-up to 57 for seven in its first innings after scoring 376.

The scores: Mumbai 376 in 135 overs (Chandrasekhar Tathe 144, Iqbal Abdullah 50, Pankaj Jaiswal 47, Sufian Shaikh 43, Nikhil Patil 37, Jaskaran Singh four for 112, Lakshay Seth three for 102) vs. Punjab 57 for seven in 42.4 overs (Saurab Netravalkar four for 12, Iqbal Abdullah three for 16).
