Trekking programme

KOZHIKODE: A one-day trekking, from Kallampullu to Thampurankolli-Anakkallanpara, will be organised for college students on January 18.

The programme is being organised jointly by the Kozhikode District Mountaineering Association and Koodaranji grama panchayat. A general body meeting of the association held with Kozhikode District Sports Council secretary K.J. Mathai in the chair elected its office-bearers. Mayor M. Bhaskaran is the patron, T.K. Abdul Latheef (president), V. Haridasan (secretary), T.J. Roy, Pradeep Hudino and M.K. Dineshan (vice-presidents) and Iqbal Kannankandi (treasurer).
