Indian invited for Obama inaugural
Staff Reporter
Raoul Menon
Bangalore: “I’m glad Obama won over McCain. In all the political debates that took place, he was concise, diplomatic and did not use any derogatory terms,” says 21-year-old Raoul Menon, who will witness the historic occasion of Barack Obama assuming charge as U.S. President on January 20.
Mr. Menon has been invited to witness the 56th Presidential Inaugural Conference (UPIC), as an Inaugural Scholar.
This invitation is reserved exclusively for alumni, and the UPIC and Mr. Menon, who is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the Occidental College in Los Angeles.
